A gas barbecue is great for large-scale garden grilling sessions. Gas barbecues are often left in place — with a cover — all year round so that you can just turn on the propane and get grilling as soon as the sun arrives. They’re usually quite large, and the use of propane fuel instead of charcoal means they deliver much more heat. The result is that they can cook a lot of food at once. The obvious disadvantage is that such barbecues are not portable grill, so you’ll need a second grill for heading off to the lake or beach.
